Welcome
My name is Breanna Melton. I am a homeschooling mom, stay at home wife, and home maker. I am no one special and have very little to offer in the eyes of most of the world. I am simply a servant of Jesus Christ, humbly sharing stories, Bible studies, and resources that I believe He has laid on my heart to share. My sincerest prayer is that somehow, some way God, our Father, will see fit to bless you in some manner or fashion through the resources found through this site or the books He has me publish. Regardless I pray above all He will receive all glory, honor, and praise.
How to Use Free Resources
If You are looking for devotionals, You Version has some good ones. It also has many different versions of the Bible and can be downloaded as an app on your mobile device in the apple app store or the Google play store. If you want a simple web version of the Bible, Bible gateway is a great alternative to use. If you are wanting to dive a little bit deeper Bible study tools has some good articles. However, my personal favorite free Bible study tool is the Blue Letter Bible. Using the Blue Letter Bible you can view the interlinear English to original text and look up each individual word using the Strong's concordance. Blue Letter Bible also has an app for mobile users. Bible Project has several free resources and videos that have been helpful to me as I dig deeper into scripture.
Books That Have Helped Me
These are definately not the only books that have made a difference in my life and walk with Christ. As God lays more on my heart and brings more to mind, I will come back to add them. However, let me encourage you right now, wherever you may be in life. You do not need any special book or devotional to grow closer to God. All you need is a Bible, some alone time with God and the desire to draw closer to Him as you read. The Holy Spirit will lead you and teach you. Devotionals, Bible Studies, and Christian books are great, but nothing even comes close to comparing to the word of God.
God has laid it on my heart to write a series of Women's Bible studies, devotionals, journals, a series of novels and some children books. As they are published I will come back and add a link for each book to amazon. If you feel led to purchase one, I thank you for your support. Regardless, I hope and pray that if you are here God uses something here to draw you closer to him. If we don't meet this side of heaven I hope to one day meet you in the presence of the Lord.
